Aim and Purpose
In order to enhance the development of teaching and improve the learning quality of the students, we have launched “The Teachers’ Development and Teaching Resource Center.” We plan teaching and teachers’ evaluations, hold teachers’ conferences for their professional growth, and provide the teachers with online teaching materials. We also offer digital teaching equipment and training to teaching assistants, build ways to import teaching skills and integrate the school and regional teaching resources so as to ensure the school’s excellence.
The Organization Scheme
The Teachers’ Development and Teaching Resource Center, which deals with various activities to improve the quality of teaching, contains three groups: Teaching Development and Evaluation Group, Students’ Learning Counseling Group and Teaching Resource Group.
The director of the center is responsible for the overall affairs. Meanwhile, for each group, we invite professors to be the leaders and hire several staff members to carry out all matters of improving teaching quality in the center.
Responsibilities and Duties
Division of Teaching Quality
This group is in charge of the strategies for the development of teaching and works of teaching and teachers’ evaluation
1. Hold teaching seminars and promote the sharing of teachers’ experience.
2. Plan and perform teaching evaluations.
3. Plan and perform self- evaluations of the school.
4. Select teachers with good teaching qualities.
5. Any other services that enhance teaching quality.
Students’ Learning Counseling Group
This Group will plan the performing details of students’ learning and counseling
1.Plan the ways to apply for teaching assistants
2.Hold the training activities for teaching assistants
3.Plan and carry out the matters of selecting excellent teaching assistants
4.Offer the promotion and management of make-up courses for students who didn’t do well.
Teaching Resource Group
This group is in charge of integrating all the current digital teaching resources to enhance the overall teaching environment and provide teachers a variety of help and services.
1.Evaluate the need of various teaching equipment.
2.Promote multi-media teaching and enforce the digital and multi-media training programs.
3.Establish and manage E-classrooms.
4.Offer support services regarding teaching resources.
